OMG!!!

I'd totally choose Jacob... c'mon. I'd rather be next to a WARM man than a frigid hard cold one anyday. Can't wait for the scene with them 3 in the tent ;)

I love Kim Kardashian BUT....

Her new perfume smells gross!

At least to me it does. And Jose. And the woman that helped us smell fragrances at Sephora. It was sooo musky... it almost smelled like cologne. I was very dissapointed. I smelled it in my InStyle magazine last month and was disgusted by it than today decided to give it another try. Nope, I'm done. Gross.

I did however fall in love with Dolce & Gabbana's La Lune #18

Ugh, to die. I have the paper stick in my bag of course :) Jose told me he ALMOST bought it for me for my birthday but when he wanted to - they were out of it! Go figure!

Jose happened to find a new cologne he liked too. And it's Artisan by John Varvatos.

Oooh yes, me likie :)

That is his "summer" scent. I'm still on the hunt for mine. D&G is a great every day scent but not for summer. I need something sweeter!

You guys have summer scents?? And did anyone else smell the new Kim K perfume??

Freakin Dogs!

Should I remind you of this adorable little face that was brought into our family last week?

Don't let that cute face fool you. He is a great dog when you're with him. When you leave for work and come back 8 hours later, he has wreacked havoc on your house. Yesterday I came home from work to see Lando OUT of his cage that he shares with Riddle [it's open so he clearly jumped over it] and came home to this:

Yes... that dog is hanging his head from how upset he was after I yelled at him. And yes that is my childhood teddy bear to the LEFT of him! When I saw that bear next to him I was like LAAAANNDDDOOO!! Luckily, the bear was not harmed :)


Freakin dogs... May I add I did not really want another dog. This is all Jose. Yet I am ALWAYS cleaning up after him! So now crate training begins!

I can't pick my jaw up!!

I don't know HOW I stumbled across this website but when I did my jaw dropped and I still can't pick it up! I made my way to A Very Chocolate Wedding's blog and saw that this bride made hers [and her bridesmaids] bouquet out of CREPE AND TISSUE PAPER!!

This is ALOT of time and effort but her whole is totally worth it! They look amazing! Who could ever tell the difference??

What do you think?? Should I attempt to rock the tissue/crepe paper bouquets?? Mine would be roses of course!

Lets Talk About Centerpieces!

Jose and I have been doing nothing but settling our wedding budget and figuring out how much everything will be and what we want. Something we have been very stuck on is flowers - we don't wanna spend alot on centerpieces but want it to look nice!

Than we discovered submerged flowers... and saw on websites that this could be pretty cheap and we swooned even more.

So the ultimate question is... have any of you done it or knows someone that did?? and is this DIY thing we could do?? We got very crafty moms who would totally be down to help us so we might be able to pull this off on our own. Help me Guys!!

Our 40 lb. Baby!!

Our new addition is our 6 month old, 40 lb baby - Lando!

Named after one of our favorite characters in Star Wars :) and he is the sweetest, calmest pitbull [yes, pitbull] in the world. Everyone who has met him loooves him! Here he is with his older brother, Riddle!

Aren't they cuties?? Yes so we have been a little occupied around here!

It's Oscar Time!

Every year my family and I get together and watch the Oscars! Its one of our favorite things of the year :) Cos we are movie buffs in my family so we love it.

So... who do you think will win Best Picture??

This year there are 10 nominees which I was very happy with when I heard! So many movies have been snubbed... like the Dark Knight and Wall-E and Harry Potter movies. And now movies like that get a chance!

My prediction is... Avatar will win! Its a cheeeesssy story line [I did not like the movie] but knowing the academy they will choose it because of how visually stunning it is. And if there is an upset, The Hurt Locker will win!

Ooh I cant wait to watch the red carpet more than anything else! :) I WILL be posting my favorite dresses on Monday!

Anybody else watching the Oscars?? Or just tuning in for the red carpet??

My Style Crush

I will be the first to say that Lauren Conrad should not be famous. But she is. So we can not ignore the fact that this girl has got some great style. And I envy her so bad!

Like how she can walk out in a tank top and scarf and look totally put together

And this look is just to die. Damn her and her skinny little legs!

Even glammed up, she looks gorgeous! In sequins too!

I LOOOOVE this look - the tank top tunked in to the semi-high waist jeans [which we now know I can not rock]

And this dress is one of the cutest dresses I've ever seen! Ugh! Love it!

Attack of the Mom Shorts!

Last night Jose and I had a little date night. We went to the mall, did some shopping and browsing than went to see SHUTTER ISLAND which was pretty good. I love Martin Scorsese [and movies in general] and this was good! Not as good as The Departed and NOTHING beats Goodfellas in my eyes but still, pretty good!

But before we did the movie, we did the shopping. And of course I had to go browse through forever 21. When we shop, Jose loves to pick out outfits for me to wear lol. I dont know why but he loves shopping [thank god!] And he found a pair of shorts that looked like these... except a little satin-y and brown. They looked really cuute!
They were cute! I liked them! So I bought them! And came home, tried them on and ... oh hell no. They were MOM SHORTS! They rose SOOOO high on me, they looked ridiculous. Maybe its my body type, I'm not stick thin - I've got curves. So maybe these shorts are not meant for girls with curves. But Jose and I burst out laughing when we saw me in them. Ugh! Gross!


So... I will be returning them in 2 days :)
