Chicago & Us at Navy Pier!

We arrived early Friday morning and since our room wasn't ready at our hotel, we went sight seeing right away! I was the only one out of the group of the 4 of us that had been to Chicago but there were still things I hadn't seen - like Navy Pier! We walked straight to Navy Pier, along the lake where it was chilly, and checked out a bunch of stuff there. I liked it alot! 

there I am all tiny in the corner of the camera lol with my h&m snood i did not take off the whole weekend. and i was BUNDLED UP! I get cold very easily.

Chicago is my kind of town!

Booooo! We are back from Chicago! We fell in love with the Windy City, are dying to go back and we just got home! lol I don't think I've taken so many pictures on a vacation before. It was great going with our best friends and such a fun experience. We ate good, we WALKED like crazy and I can't wait to share our trip with you guys :) 

Another monthly club to join

This time: Birchbox. 

So far so good. I LOVE my Ahava foot cream, it smells so good and feels amazing. The redken hair mist smells funky but I like what it does. And purity feels so good on your skin.

The only one I'm completely clueless about and haven't tried yet is the Blinc Mascara. Has anyone tried this? Can anyone explain this to me? I haven't opened it yet lol maybe I should just try it.

So far, so good. For only $10 bucks, I can't wait to see what I get next month!

Craving - Cable Knits

I love the look and feel of cable knits for fall, and mostly for the cold Jersey winters. They are so warm and snuggly, almost like your wearing a blanket. Nothing feels nicer on your skin. Right now, cable knit is everywhere and I want it all. Especially a cable knit blanket. Nothing sounds better than watching my bravo TV with a cable knit blanket and some Keurig hot chocolate!

Photo shoot: Royal the cat

I've always been really good at taking pictures of cats... or my cats have been very good at posing for me? 

So when my sister's friend asked me if I would take pictures of her kitten, I gladly accepted the challenge! Cats are hard to photograph because of how unpredictable they are. They don't listen, they don't give a shit if you're taking a picture of them... and then a KITTEN!? A crazy, hyper kitten is worse. 

Royal is only 5 months old and the most hyper and curious cat I've ever met. He didn't sit still for a second. So these pictures are amazing because it looks like he actually cooperated with me!

Happy Friday!!

I am FINALLY on vacation from work and will be on vacation until we are back from Chicago on the 17th! Ah Chicago next weekend! So exciting! :) I've got a lot going on while on Vacation... 2 photo shoots this weekend, lots of cleaning, lots of shopping. Oh so exciting. And I just did a photo shoot yesterday. Here's a sneak peak:

My Husband & his Wifely Duties!

2 weeks ago, while I was hard at work... my husband was home with my mom [yup, MY mom] baking apple pie and making homemade bruschetta. Both were amazing!! They also made pizza [which was not photographed but delicious too!] I was so proud of him making these three things he had never made before, and all of them tasting amazing. 

He snapped these photos that day while they cooked saying "this is a blog post! here, I took pictures for your blog!" lol what a good husband! His photo skills are really good [since he has decided to help me with starting a photography business, he is practicing shooting like crazy!]

Dulce Candy's closet

I stumbled upon Dolce Candy a couple weeks ago and a couple pages in, I saw this post. My jaw dropped. Literally. This closet is sick... and I think it's safe to say this is the closet girls dream of. I know I suddenly did lol so I wanted to share! Enjoy the eye candy! ;)

The Real Royal Wedding: Our first dance!

Our first dance was to The Stylistics "Betcha by Golly Wow". We randomly heard it on the radio driving up from Atlantic City and both loved it, Jose mostly because his father loved the stylistics. 

The strap from my dress hanging out drives me absolutely bonkers... how did NO ONE see this and tell me!? 

Next up: more dances and toasts!
