It's love at first sight...

And it is with a cape. Yup, a cape. From Anthropologie. The nicest, chicest, warmest cape in the world.

I'll be making a splurge big time on this cape because I just love it that much. I can see myself walking thru new york city with Jose at Christmas time wearing this cape. Yes, like that.

Check out the cape HERE.

SPOOKY!

This year I decided to forgo a Halloween Costume Party, mostly because I really wasn't into decorating really crazy, buying costumes and the oh so fun next day party clean up. But I still love Halloween & wanted to still entertain. So instead, we hosted a Pumpkin Carving Party! With just a few finger foods & sweets out, we had a fun night carving. Though I failed to take pictures of most okay ALL of the pumpkins - maybe that means I was caught up in the fun?

simple Halloween decorations found in the Target $1 bins!

my mom's delicious cupcakes are a must - though next time I might need someone else to decorate them lol

tried out Fabulous K's "boo crunch" recipe and LOVED it! will be doing this for all future parties :)

a spooky champagne cocktail - midori sour and champange! voila!

look at the intense faces! people were concentrated!

my sister-in-law was the smart one and opted for stick ons instead of carving! what a cute little pumpkin princess :)

my friends and their pretty dope carving skills!

LOVE this time of year! Halloween is so fun!
Did you pumpkin carve this year??

Pumpkin Picking Time!

Pumpkin Picking was always one of my favorite things to do as a kid with my family. I haven't done it in years and made it an absolute must-do on my fall bucket list this year since Jose never did went as a kid! And last week we crossed it off! We went with his brother & sister-in-law on the most perfect fall day & found so many great pumpkins we brought all 6 of them home with us along with some apple cider donuts and apple cider [my fave!] It was a fun time and I hope to do it again next year :)

 i found a nice one!

such a cute baby pumpkin!

 nothing but pumpkins for miles!

Jose carrying our load :)

my sister-in-law found the cutest mini pumpkin at the farm stand!

Keep them feet warm (& cute!)

Once it becomes fall every year, I find myself stocking up on cute little socks. I blame my mom. She has been buying me and my sister cute, designed socks for the fall for as long as I can remember - so I got used to wearing them and have stuck with the tradition. The socks I really can't get enough of are from J. Crew. Their clothes is amazing but guess what? They have AMAZING socks! Go stock up on some pairs [and don't say I didn't warn you. highly addictive!]

Lauren Conrad Kohls Winter Collection!

I have always loved Lauren Conrad since Laguna Beach and than when she made the move to "The Hills", she seriously became one of my biggest influences in fashion. Since she launched her line at Kohls, I've continuously shopped it with a love for its girly and feminine pieces and how they really do flatter anyone. Now she has released the Winter 2012 collection with Kohls and... oh my god. I am in love. LOVE. The first picture and last two pictures are my absolute favorites. The sweaters look so warm, the sequins so PERFECT! I NEED that sequin dress!

Here are some of my absolute favorites from the collection!

You can shop the rest of the collection at Kohls right HERE!

DIY Halloween Costume: Katniss Everdeen!

Halloween is only in a few weeks and now it's time to start planning our costumes! This year has been FULL of plenty pop culture inspiration to pull from and one of them that's sure to be popular is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games!

Just add a side ponytail braid, a fake bow and arrow and a mockingjay pin and you're all set [bonus points for having a Peeta tag along with you :) ]

shop Katniss' look below:

Katniss is SO easy to diy! If I end up struggling at the last minute - don't be surprised if you see me pulling from my own DIY! :) I have a few more DIY Halloween costume posts planned before Halloween so stick around!

In the meantime - do you know what YOU are being for Halloween?

BaubleBar + Atlantic-Pacific

The BaubleBar/Atlantic-Pacific Collaboration launched Wednesday and to say I am in LOVE with it is an understatement. There are no words for this collection!

Based on pieces Blair wears as well as past pieces in the BaubleBar collection - it's full of nothing but bright colors, pastels and graphic pieces. Totally Blair! It's full of great pieces that can be worn throughout the entire year - together and alone! Below are some of my favorites!

Lets see how good you know me...
can you guess which TWO pieces I bought all ready? :)

Fall must have: Infinity Scarf

This year I was on the hunt for the perfect infinity scarf to wear through fall and winter. I love scarves but infinity scarves even more. Yesterday while going through J.Crew Factory I found it - in a variety of colors! I was so excited. Even MORE excited to see it was also on-line!

They are so long, perfect for wrapping around multiple times and come in so many colors. I bought a black and white striped scarf and now want a neutral... though the pink, red and blue ones are really calling me.

Is a new, fun scarf on YOUR fall must have list?

It's All Happening!

We have booked our first wedding!! :D As I mentioned Friday - we had a meeting Sunday with the sweetest couple. We hit it off great and are now their official photographers for their wedding next July!

Things are really taking shape for us, faster than I ever imagined they would. I seriously did not think in a million years in our first year of business we would have a wedding booked. I'm so happy all the hard work we do every day AFTER our full time jobs is paying off! And I hope it continues :)

from the wedding I helped shoot Sunday right after the meeting! So "Father of the Bride"!

To follow us and our adventures more in depth you can visit us on our blog at Tina & Jose Photography! :D and leave us some love while you're there!

Optimism!!

Happy Friday!! So happy it's Friday because I am so looking forward to this weekend. Sunday is going to be a great day because I was asked to help out shooting a wedding last minute! It's my FOURTH wedding I'll be shooting this wedding! Sure it's not "our" client but it's practice for me and work for our portfolio! So I am so excited!! :)

Not only that but on Sunday we have our first client meeting with a client interested in maybe-hopefully-please-god-let-them-pick-us booking a wedding with us!!! Ahhh!!! I've had nothing but the BEST and most POSITIVE thoughts about this meeting and I really really hope what my gut is telling me turns out to be true! I'm so excited for Sunday and hope to report back exciting news! If I never speak of it again ... than you know we didn't get booked lol. But regardless of what happens, it's a step in the right direction & I'm just so glad the opportunity has been presented to us! [all thanks to this AMAZING lady by the way! she's the best blogger friend ever, i swear!]

Wish us luck!! Have a great weekend and I'll see you back here Monday :D

butter london fall shades!

While I absolutely LOVE Essie nail polish, butter london is quickly becoming a new favorite. The polish goes on so smooth, doesn't chip for days and really seems to strengthen my nails. I love butter london shades as well - and their new fall colors have done me in. They cover every mood you'll be in this fall and I will be racing out this weekend to grab the shades I love most.

You can shop these shades below!

Which shade is your fave? I LOVE that shimmery purple!

Stripes & Leopard

The day we were in Philadelphia was a perfect day weather wise for walking around and exploring the city. It was just right and when it got a tiny bit breezy - I wrapped my leopard scarf around my neck to keep warm [since I get cold very easily]. And I just love leopard and stripes together. The great, long Benjamin Franklin Bridge [they love ben franklin in Philly!] made for a great backdrop for photos in Penns Landing.
