Oh I miss you Christmas...

I'm enjoying a few more days off from the blog but thought I'd pop in real quick to share some photos from Christmas. It was a wonderful Christmas in every way and I'm SO upset its all over! We had a great Christmas Eve & a simple Christmas day, eating dinner at home and getting cozy in bed early. And our pets were spoiled! so spoiled! I'll share what my gifts were soon [turns out, it's a GREAT thing to have a blog! got SO MUCH that I actually asked for!]

Fall Must Haves... for dogs!

Shamefully - I am one of THOSE moms. The dog mom that HAS to get sweaters and coats and halloween costumes for her dogs and torture them... though I know mine secretly love it. And it seems right now my dogs are in need of new EVERYTHING. New sweaters, new collars, new beds & why not throw in some new toys while I'm at it? Luckily - I can do all my one stop adorable fall shopping at Muttropolis. Muttropolis has the CUTEST dog goodies and anyone out there with a dog will love their stuff as much as I do, I'm sure :)

Dog days of summer!

How was everyone's weekend? My weekend went real fast considering Sunday was the only day I had off! And yesterday was CRAZY hot in Jersey! We enjoyed it by having brunch with my mom & sister than taking the dogs for a hot, sweaty walk & than letting them enjoy the summer day in their new pool we got them. And oh my goodness did they enjoy it! They were the cutest & that pool is the best $7 I've spent yet. I was so glad to see them so happy :)

 if we left Riddle alone, he would have figured out a way to swim in that tiny pool. He loved the pool! 

and for anyone who wonders why we named him Riddle - behold the question mark marking on his back! :)

Also - thank you SO MUCH for all the great comments on friday's post! I loved reading all of them and hearing your personal stories of venturing out and moving to where you desired, it got me fueled up even more! I appreciate it SO much! :) and Jose read them as well and it got him thinking too! So YAY!!!! :D

Senorita Margarita!

Happy new week!! Hope you all had a great weekend - and Mothers Day. We spent Mothers Day very simply - at home, relaxing, enjoying the gorgeous day it was outside and mixing up some impromptu margaritas [my mom's favorite drink!] It was a nice casual day home - which is great considering how insanely busy I am the rest of this week!

Happy Monday!! How was everyone's Kentucky Derby/ Cinco de Mayo weekend?? Everyone I know was busy working so I didn't do too much except watch the big boxing fight that night at my brother in laws for an hour than went home lol. Buuuuuttt I did get to enjoy some quality time with my [fur] boys at home cos it was our dog Riddle's 3rd birthday Saturday!! He got SPOILED this year! [Not just by me but his grandma too :)] And not only Riddle but Lando & Hitchcock [the cat] got gifts too! A great birthday enjoyed by all :) AND I took pics! Enjoy watching Riddle celebrate his birthday - with a party hat and all!

Perfect Outfit: Cinco de Mayo! Ayayayaya!!!

This week's Perfect Outfit is themed around Cinco de Mayo!! What a fun holiday for no reason at all.. just a big old excuse for all of us to get dressed, go drinking and eat mexican food. Cinco de mayo could be any day lol. But regardless - let's get us dressed for it!

When I think Cinco de Mayo I think BRIGHT colors, mexican decorations [like pinatas] & margarita's! I am all about bright colors and mixing bright colors so this outfit is screaming to be worn by me! Love the big flowers on the sandals and the contrast the necklace [which I actually have in coral!] and the nail polish bring to it. What a fun outfit for a night out! 

I'm super excited every year for Cindo De Mayo for one reason....

Thaaaaaaat's right! On saturday - Riddle is turning 3!! It's 21 in dog years!! So guess who's having his first corona on Saturday?? :D no seriously.. is beer ok for dogs cos I totally will give him one if it is!

Instagram life lately!

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend! My weekend was nice, besides working. I edited an engagement shoot I did a couple weeks ago, have been deep in planning my next two and in the middle of it all am trying to get this business up and running for real! Not gonna lie, it's A LOT of fun making a business plan & realizing this is actually happening. So exciting!

Christmas time is here!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!! It's finally here... and I'm so upset the Christmas season is all ready over. No more christmas songs, no more Christmas movies, no wrapping gifts. But everything that comes these next two days is what makes it all worth it. Lots of time with family, lots of laughing and enjoying each others company starting tonight! It's my cousin/godson's birthday!

Before I sign off for the weekend, I decided to FINALLY share the decorations in my mom's house [remember, we're living here for a little bit longer to save up to buy a house]. I also decided to include some pictures of my friends, Wendy's house and her decorations. We went over and hung out the night she decorated her tree and I was snapping away. Her house and my mom's house are polar opposites when it comes to decorations but hers are gorgeous! The color scheme is beautiful, ties in perfectly with the rest of her house and I HAD to share! And go and follow her blog!! You'll see her great taste in fashion and decor and get to know a lot about her along the way :) Okay here is Wendy's house! 

Their color scheme is silver, white and hints of lime green.

Anyone feel like spoiling their pets?

Don't ask me how I found this website cos I have no idea! But I looove the products on it! These creatures is located right in Brooklyn, New York and make amazing products! But their highlight? HANGING dog feeders! And not just any - but PERSONALIZED! For example...

check out the Pittie :)

 Then check out the Boston Terrier one and see the resemblence of the dog on the wall and my dog :)

 PLUS they have hanging feeders for Cats too! And this one on the wall looks like Hitchcock!

 Dude they are awesome... and about $200 each! Booo :( Out of my price range. But if we could, we totally would. Yes Jose fell in love with them too! But it don't stop there! I loooove this hanging shelf/charging station.

 And do you see the hanging ornament on the shelf? It's actually a French Bulldog but they always look like Boston Terriers and I'd love this ornament for my tree!

I long for these products like you don't even know. One day man, one day! Hope you enjoy the eye candy like i do :)

Heeeeey Bulldog!

We're in trouble...

we want another dog! Yiiiiikes! Yes we all ready have two - and a cat - and we are dying for another one. And not just any other one. A bulldog! But not just any bulldog... A Black and White Bulldog...

 Cute no?? The tricky thing is black and white bulldogs are rare... very rare. And this dog would need to be custom made! But why black and white?? Uhm cos he needs to match the rest of our black and white animals!

Yes the cat is the one that started the trend. He is our first black and white animal. And would you believe people for some reason dont like black and white animals?? Shelters have told us this sooo many times! So we wanna scoop all their asses up!

Truth be told when Jose and I first talked about getting a dog over a year ago, the first dog that came to our minds was a Bulldog. That is honestly Jose's favorite dog. But when the black and white concept came up, we than discovered Boston Terriers and of course Riddle entered the picture! But now that we have our dogs and know dogs, we are dying to add a baby bulldog to the family! [Jose says bulldogs walk all slow and stumpy - just like him! And they'd be soooo cute walking together down the street. ::sigh:: sometimes my man says such cute things]

So just throwing it out there! When ya see a black and white bulldog think of me!!
