Oh I miss you Christmas...

I'm enjoying a few more days off from the blog but thought I'd pop in real quick to share some photos from Christmas. It was a wonderful Christmas in every way and I'm SO upset its all over! We had a great Christmas Eve & a simple Christmas day, eating dinner at home and getting cozy in bed early. And our pets were spoiled! so spoiled! I'll share what my gifts were soon [turns out, it's a GREAT thing to have a blog! got SO MUCH that I actually asked for!]

Fall Must Haves... for dogs!

Shamefully - I am one of THOSE moms. The dog mom that HAS to get sweaters and coats and halloween costumes for her dogs and torture them... though I know mine secretly love it. And it seems right now my dogs are in need of new EVERYTHING. New sweaters, new collars, new beds & why not throw in some new toys while I'm at it? Luckily - I can do all my one stop adorable fall shopping at Muttropolis. Muttropolis has the CUTEST dog goodies and anyone out there with a dog will love their stuff as much as I do, I'm sure :)

Dog days of summer!

How was everyone's weekend? My weekend went real fast considering Sunday was the only day I had off! And yesterday was CRAZY hot in Jersey! We enjoyed it by having brunch with my mom & sister than taking the dogs for a hot, sweaty walk & than letting them enjoy the summer day in their new pool we got them. And oh my goodness did they enjoy it! They were the cutest & that pool is the best $7 I've spent yet. I was so glad to see them so happy :)

 if we left Riddle alone, he would have figured out a way to swim in that tiny pool. He loved the pool! 

and for anyone who wonders why we named him Riddle - behold the question mark marking on his back! :)

Also - thank you SO MUCH for all the great comments on friday's post! I loved reading all of them and hearing your personal stories of venturing out and moving to where you desired, it got me fueled up even more! I appreciate it SO much! :) and Jose read them as well and it got him thinking too! So YAY!!!! :D

Perfect Outfit: Cinco de Mayo! Ayayayaya!!!

This week's Perfect Outfit is themed around Cinco de Mayo!! What a fun holiday for no reason at all.. just a big old excuse for all of us to get dressed, go drinking and eat mexican food. Cinco de mayo could be any day lol. But regardless - let's get us dressed for it!

When I think Cinco de Mayo I think BRIGHT colors, mexican decorations [like pinatas] & margarita's! I am all about bright colors and mixing bright colors so this outfit is screaming to be worn by me! Love the big flowers on the sandals and the contrast the necklace [which I actually have in coral!] and the nail polish bring to it. What a fun outfit for a night out! 

I'm super excited every year for Cindo De Mayo for one reason....

Thaaaaaaat's right! On saturday - Riddle is turning 3!! It's 21 in dog years!! So guess who's having his first corona on Saturday?? :D no seriously.. is beer ok for dogs cos I totally will give him one if it is!

Life as of lately

Cabin fever

This weekend was shot to shit because of Irene. I worked Saturday night [which was fine] and stayed inside on Sunday all day. Our basement [my sisters new room] and our backyard got flooded. No fun. But I did get to wear my rain boots for the first time in like, 3 years! But if I had Hunters I'd wear them shits everywhere. Just saying! Cabin fever got the best of us. The dogs practically destroyed all their toys and were exhausted by 8pm. But I did manage to do some decorating in my new office [pictures soon] and clean. Today, more decorating in the office :)

Tell me why I don't like Monday?

Boo. It's Monday. The weekend went too fast. My weekend was pretty good and we had a lot of fun out on friday and saturday. Yesterday Jose & I went shopping and I got some goodies. Today I was supposed to work but had to take Lando to the vet. He's okay! And now I'm home doing some more "mini-apartment" decorating and admiring my newest additions to my accessory family.

A Stars and Stripes Weekend!

Whoo! What an amazing weekend it was! I was so busy and enjoying it so much I hardly took pictures... which is not like me. But I did get some in. Friday night was spent at the fair, Saturday was spent at the flea market, sushi and walking around Hoboken. Sunday I worked. And Monday was spent BBQing at my moms. Besides Sunday, it was the perfect weekend. Along with lots of packing thrown in.

10 DAYS UNTIL I AM MARRIED!

12 DAYS UNTIL WE GO TO MEXICO!!!

I am realllly excited to marry Jose but I am even MORE excited to go away with him for 7 whole days all alone to Mexico! No dogs! No cat meowing for food! No work! Just us relaxing, tanning, laying down, doing the naughty alot alot lol yess it'll be amazing.

I've still got LOTS of little things to do but I'm so organized I am not even concerned. :)

But besides wedding stuff I want to give you a big teaser I wont be able to actually show you until we get back from our honeymoon lol Riddle [my dog] was in a movie!

If I just breathe...

18 days and counting...

and I'm finally starting to get stressed out. Our schedule is so fucking off this week [meaning Jose's working THOSE hours while I'm working THEM hours] and I feel like we ain't getting SHIT done for the wedding]. But I'm not gonna stress myself out more by actually talking about it. ::breathes::

So here's our lovely little wedding bling. Our bands.

I love them. It only took me like oh... 5 minutes to pick mine. I knew right away. Jose picked 3 different ones from a catalogue, tried on 6 and found his pretty quickly too. We love them. And next my engagement ring I love it even more.

Jose had his bachelor party this weekend. I had the idea him and his boys should on a whim go see the Mets game then do their bachelor thing and they did. They went to a strip club, he got some lap dances and... he got bombed! I can not get to sleep lately so when he stumbled in at 4:30 AM and i was still wide awake watching The Social Network for the first time I was not prepared to see him literally stumbling in. I've never seen Jose as drunk [or hungover] as he was this weekend lol and I'm glad he was. Sadly, these guys are too cool to actually take pictures of their bachelor party [at least at the Mets game!] so all I've got is my little story from that night lol

Oh! And we have a new addition to our little family I'm so excited about. His name is George and I love him :)

I've eyed this little man for a looooong time now and finally on Friday when we went to the mall... I finally bought him! And he's so cute! Looks just like my Riddle :)

He is the best to take pictures of. Because he sits there when mama whips out the camera.. and he poses..

And even when he doesn't pose, he's still my favorite thing to take pictures of.

The real reason he's the best is cos he sits there and works the camera. As compared to Lando who when I bring out the camera, he literally runs from it. I'm serious.. I think Lando's afraid of the DSLR. Pussy. But riddle, he's my man.

And hitchcock, our cat, is impossible because... well cats just don't sit still! But I manage to get some pretty good pictures of him from time to time.

I love Hitch's ear balding. And how his green eyes look crazy yellow in this picture. And how when my camera bag arrives in it's big box - that box is now his new home.

Love them all. Except Lando cos he hides from stupid shit like my camera... boo!

Somebody Loves My New Rug...

He was rollin' around on the new rug the minute it hit the floor - for 15 minutes. Enough time for me to take plenty o pictures. What a cutie.
