Outfit: Red Riding Cape

I love this cape. I blogged about it not too long ago... and not too long after that, I purchased it. It feels so nice and almost luxurious that I only pull it out on special occasions. And now it's my lucky cape. I wore this cape when we went house hunting and... we think we found it! Keeping mum on the details so we don't jinx ourselves but just keep your fingers crossed! This cape is magic I swear!

And these shoes are the absolute most comfortable shoes EVER.

Stripes & Leopard

The day we were in Philadelphia was a perfect day weather wise for walking around and exploring the city. It was just right and when it got a tiny bit breezy - I wrapped my leopard scarf around my neck to keep warm [since I get cold very easily]. And I just love leopard and stripes together. The great, long Benjamin Franklin Bridge [they love ben franklin in Philly!] made for a great backdrop for photos in Penns Landing.

Turquoise & Leopard

Yesterday we went to a nice family wedding in the city and it was a fun night - followed by a late night Shake Shack run but more on that later this week. I decided to do something I've never ever done before - wear dress pants! I LOVED this look and on top of that, they were seriously so comfortable! I really am looking forward to wearing them again. And by the way - turquoise and leopard might be my new favorite combo. Hella cute.

Hot child in the City!

How was everyone's weekend? Hope it was a good one. Besides have a terrible stomach virus on Saturday, my weekend was nice. Friday night was spent with my mom in Manhattan to see the Philharmonic play at Lincoln Center. It was SO nice to do something so different and out of the box! Seeing a live orchestra perform in front of you is great and I HIGHLY recommend it if you travel to NYC and want to do something unique! I've never been to Lincoln Center and was in LOVE with it! I am now DYING to take engagement pictures there! Before going to see the Philharmonic, we took a few photos - sadly not with my DSLR. Another reason I hope to go back, get better pictures next time!

you can't tell by this picture but it was DISGUSTINGLY hot out

I was too overdressed for the Philharmonic but oh well! :)

my adorable mom - and the metropolitan opera house behind her!

inside Avery Fisher Hall. So pretty!

and a closer look - mostly cos of my new bauble bar necklace! It was my first time wearing it and I got 5 compliments from strangers that night!

Outfit: Black & Yellow

On Sunday Jose & I enjoyed a gorgeous day in Hoboken and took pictures for our website. We had a blast and the pictures came out amazing! We are doing final tweaks on the website and I really can't wait to share it with you... but I also couldn't wait to share a pic of what I was wearing on Sunday. We wanted to take photos in outfits that really represented us.

We weren't gonna fake it - when you book us, this is what you get. And I loved my outfit. The button down shirt has become my absolute favorite thing to wear... of course with my signature loafers! And I just bought my first [three] pairs of colored jeans/pants this past week and now - I'm obsessed! I wore yellow pants because [as you know from the post 3 days ago] I'm obsessed with the color AND it's apart of our brand! So why not wear it?

BLOW & Blue...

A new week has begun! Wow the weekends just fly by now. Well I'm excited to share my fun bright ass look from the Friday night :) Jose & I were on our way out to dinner with our friends when he said "your outfit would be a great post for your blog". Good thinking kid!! So we ran outside & took some quick pictures :D Props to Jose for even thinking of it - maybe he should be running this blog? lol

By the way... Friday, I got my hair blown out at BLOW in NYC & I LOVED it! I raved about going to Dry Bar a couple months ago but in all honesty - this was way better! The experience at the Dry Bar is great with the movies and drinks but Blow was a WAY BETTER hair job! He blow dried my thick ass hair & curled it all within an hour! It took the girl at Dry Bar TWO hours to do that - and honestly, my hair didn't look half as good as it did this time from Blow! So next time your in the city looking for a GOOD blow job [ha!] - go to Blow :D

damn that hair is looking fresh!!

Rockin' that Blue & Green

Happy Monday!! Why am I so excited it's Monday?? Well for starters, it's the last week of March! And March is going to be the shit!! Im [hopefully] finishing my tattoo on Thursday so bringing in March with a bang & a little blood :) But I'm also souped cos I have an outfit post to share. The thing with me is my outfit posts aren't too crazy or fashionable... but they are ME! So hopefully you don't mind em too much.  Just me and my awesome new chain necklace AND Jason Wu bag both from target whaaaaattt.

And obviously Jose took these shots and turned into quite the fashion photographer. I was impressed by him directing me on how to put my hands to show off my bracelets and bag lol.

Gray and Yellow

Ooh but it's monday again?? How did this happen? I for once had the whole weekend off and enjoyed it very much. It was a whole lot of nothing. Saturday was spent stocking up early on Superbowl goodies and hanging out watching wrestling with my husband & brother in law. Sunday, it was a store meeting at work and than hanging out at home. This week is gonna be full of fun and I needed this down time! And guess what?? I had a low key outfit Saturday that I just happened to take pictures of!

By the way... the reason why I'm taking these pictures in the first place is because I'm one of the featured stylists on StyleSays. As a featured stylist I'm encouraged by the owner, Jess, to show off my outfits and help people "shop" them if they want. So go on over to my page HERE & check out my past outfits [not too many lol] and the goodies I'm coveting from all over the internet. And make your own page!

Onto my Saturday outfit :) This is me in a nut shell. Jeans, comfy shoes, big ass bag and some bling. And so sorry for looking awkward. I'm really not good in front of cameras. EVER

did I mention gray and yellow is my favorite color combination lately?? so had to have this shirt

Sooo How was everyone's weekend???
Let me know!

Neutrals & Purple

The weather around here has been unseasonably warm. And I'm taking full advantage of it, especially when it's warm AND I'm off from work. I ran outside and... took another outfit post! I love wearing neutrals with a pop of color. I never shy away from any type of color especially purple, which has rapidly become one of my favorite colors. It's my moms signature color and I might just have to borrow it :)

Gasp! An Outfit post!

I know what you're thinking... an outfit post?? Am I on the right blog?? But I had to. I loved my simple little date night outfit with my new bag, shoes and necklace all in one I had to snap a picture. And don't mind my un-matching headband and my laid back ponytail. I was off of work and hungry, okay?

There are reasons why this is taken indoors. It was late and dark out all ready... but the number one is it was fuh-reezing! And I don't think you want to see me all bundled up? So here I am in my office with my handy new tripod and camera remote doing the work for me.

And in case anyone is interested....

Saturday Night Outfit... and we got some news!

So I have our BIG news at the end of this post but first just wanted to tap over our weekend real quick. And I loved my outfit so much I took a picture. But I had to take it at a shitty angle. So at the risk of looking like a fat pig [which I do at this angle for some reason] I'm just gonna throw it out there!

There! It's over! It's done! Ahh... I feel so much better. So Saturday night was supposed to be with girlfriends but when they bailed, I went to my "down ass bitches" Nestor and Wendy. Jose and I call them down ass bitches because they are ALWAYS down for ANYTHING. They're the shit!

I had some spiked pink lemonade

And some corn dogs while I patiently wait to go to the fair in 2 weeks

I've always worn mad bracelets. My friends ALWAYS made fun of me. But now it's cool to do it so I'm taking photos of my brand new bracelet arm.

Hmm... these look like Instagram pictures?? How?? Maybe cos Jose and I now got iPhones!! We made the full conversion to mac baby!

So our big news is
We are Moving!
But it's not what you think...

We are moving in to my MOMs house for a year [year and a half tops] to SAVE up to buy our own house. Because in the county of New Jersey we live in, it's just waaaaay too expensive to do it our own so quickly. If we didn't do this move into my moms, it would take us SEVEN YEARS to save the money we'd be putting away. I was VERY reluctant but Jose convinced me and now I'm sure there's just no better way for us to get our own house. So YUP!

I'm going to be posting some BEFORE and AFTER pictures of our apartment because it has come a loooooong way and I just always want to remember our first little home we made together. So look for those babies soon!
