Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Can NOT believe Thanksgiving has come and gone and it is officially the holiday season! Time goes by when you're having fun! Our thanksgiving was so nice & I hope you all had a great one as well! We spent the morning in our pjs watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade, the afternoon with my family having a traditional Thanksgiving meal and the night with Jose's family... it was a great day! And now the house is all set for Christmas! These are the last few months we'll be living with my mom before going off to live on our own again and we are enjoying and not taking for granted being so close to family this Christmas :) Here are some photos from our Thanksgiving...

Yay to the Holiday Weekend!! I have off the whole weekend - but I'm working the entire time lol. However!! It's for Photography so yay!!!! I'm second shooting a wedding tomorrow & than Jose & I are shooting an Engagement Party Sunday [which is also my moms birthday!!]  Crazy weekend!! 

But Monday is MEMORIAL DAY!! I love any patriotic holidays. Besides the actual importance of the holidays, it's a time to hang out, BBQ & enjoy the day. This Perfect Outfit is seriously.. my perfect outfit, and pretty much an every day outfit. Jeans, t-shirt, flip flops - yup! Sounds right!

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend! My weekend was nice, besides working. I edited an engagement shoot I did a couple weeks ago, have been deep in planning my next two and in the middle of it all am trying to get this business up and running for real! To those that celebrate this weekend, Have a safe & Happy Easter! I'll be working [morning shifts thank god] all weekend which stinks... but I'm off today which leaves me just a little time to last minute decorate with my mom our table for Easter Dinner on Sunday. And also, yesterday my mom randomly said she wants to dye eggs. Mimosa's & St Pattys! [Weekend Recap!]

Happy Monday!! Guess what?? Tomorrow I am out of here and heading off to Disney! I can hear the "Mickey Mouse Club March" playing for me all ready. As much as this may not be a vacation to some people [you know, walking around all day in the sun] - it is to me! It's NOT work & I have loved Disney World since I first went when I was a little girl so I am VERY excited!!!

How was everyones weekend?? I worked Friday Night & Sunday Morning so spent my Saturday off enjoying it to the fullest. We had an engagement shoot to photograph Saturday [whoo!] & spent our morning toasting Mimosa's to ourselves & hoping our business goes great as we get more and more clients! And no, we did not show up "drunk". We are professionals! Than at night we changed into our "green" for St Pattys. An irish dinner, irish beer & American cover bands. Fun St. Pattys if you ask me.

New Years Eve Inspiration!

Where has 2011 gone?? It has been an incredible year! [I'll do my obligatory "look back at the year" post tomorrow] I'm always so excited for the New Year. A fresh start with so many goals to achieve, so many memories to start and look back on. I always want to ring in the New Year fabulously, to start the year on a good note, but it never is that way. Last year was a great New Year started with friends, drinking and karaoke. This year will be with family, drinking... maybe some karaoke again. Who knows!? But one day I tell ya... one day our New Years will look fabulous like these pictures.

Well, there will always be noisemakers!

Post-Thanksgiving Thanks

Thanksgiving was really fun this year mostly because it felt really laid back. I was pretty much ready to knock out after 7 o'clock but once I seriously burned myself during our Christmas crafts [and retired early] than had the only turkey stomach pains, we just went home, watched TV and slept. Today we will begin putting up the Christmas decorations in my mom's house... though it seems everyone I know is everything but in the holiday mood today, I'm making the best of the situation. It's the Holidays people! Time to get cheery and think of the good things in life :)

Prepping for Thanksgiving!

Finally the greatest holiday EVER is here!! I can not wait for tomorrow. It is all about tradition [waking up and watching the thanksgiving day parade in our PJS while eating biscuits, christmas crafts after dinner] and being with my family. While Jose's uncle is sick in the hospital this Thanksgiving and it's still up in the air that we'll see them, I feel even more graetful for the family we have and just want everyone to feel loved tomorrow. I don't play on Thanksgiving. I don't dress cute or anything, just comfortable because it is such a long day. And though it's not the exact sweater, this is pretty much what I'll be rocking tomorrow.

Dreaming of thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving week!! I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here all ready. I love the day, mostly because it's just spent with the people I care about the most the entire day from beginning to end. Every year my sister hosts Thanksgiving dinner [with our traditional christmas crafts following] but I secretly hope to one day host Thanksgiving dinner myself. I know it's a lot of stress all the cooking and preparing... but I love to entertain. I find any excuse for a party [in fact, I have a mini Christmas one coming up! details later] So for now I'm saving my inspiration in my pinterest folder until I one day can host Thanksgiving dinner :)

A Stars and Stripes Weekend!

Whoo! What an amazing weekend it was! I was so busy and enjoying it so much I hardly took pictures... which is not like me. But I did get some in. Friday night was spent at the fair, Saturday was spent at the flea market, sushi and walking around Hoboken. Sunday I worked. And Monday was spent BBQing at my moms. Besides Sunday, it was the perfect weekend. Along with lots of packing thrown in.
