When I recieved the newest J.Crew catalogue in the mail, it was like any other day. Until I turned to page 56 and literally gasped out loud of the sight of two fun and perfect looking loafers... than quickly shared it on Instagram :) 

And now I am obsessed. I need these shoes. At least one pair. My long time followers know my absolute love of loafers. They are incredibly comfortable, flattering and so cute! And they don't seem to be going away anytime soon. This is my "investment pair"... thats what I keep telling myself to justify the purchase :)

Sweet Karolina!

I hope by now we all understand my extreme love of all things Kate Spade. Yes? Ok, moving on. I am deeply in love with the Karolina Kate Spade shoe. The simple heel height, the assortment of nudes and brights they come in - to me it simply seems like the perfect shoe. One of my goals in 2013 is to get my hands on a pair of these babies!

Little Goodies!

I am really souped today because not only is it friday but it is the OFFICIAL start of our Staycation! It seems work has been nonstop lately and it took forever to get to this point but finally - Jose & I are off for the next week from work and while we aren't going anywhere special, I'm so excited to just not be working. We have a few day trips planned during our week off and I'll still be posting here so stay tuned :) Not only that but tomorrow is JOSE'S 30TH BIRTHDAY!!!! A special post will be posted tomorrow for him :D In the meantime, HAPPY FRIDAY!

Blue Shoe, Red Shoe...

This fall I'm looking at ankle booties - I love them. I have one pair that I wore a ton last fall and plan on wearing more this year but I want to expand my collection. Since I never shy away from color, these boots had me at hello! And typical me... I'm stumped. I don't know why one I love more!! I encourage you to help me pick please :)

It's about to be august which means - time to start shopping for FALL!! I always tell myself I won't get excited for fall in August but when the stores start pushing it in my face, how am I supposed to ignore it?? One store that sucked me in big time is Zara... ESPECIALLY their loafer collection. Holy hell. Those that really KNOW me know I became obsessed with loafers last year and that hasn't stopped. And now Zara has me under their spell ... must. have. zara. loafers. [haha. get it? i "loaf" you loafers!] 

Okay maybe they aren't a "must" but I'll for sure be buying one or two pairs from there.

Instagram life lately!

Hope you all had a great Easter weekend! My weekend was nice, besides working. I edited an engagement shoot I did a couple weeks ago, have been deep in planning my next two and in the middle of it all am trying to get this business up and running for real! Not gonna lie, it's A LOT of fun making a business plan & realizing this is actually happening. So exciting!

Decisions, Decisions..

Shoemint has been shelling out great heels since they opened in December but this month has officially killed me. Two of the three new shoes are amazing.. and I'm feeling insanely torn over which ones I'd get! Even though I can always get them at any time, I'm not even sure which ones to buy right now!

The Lambert Wedge / The Veronique pointed heel

I'm dying over the wedges, reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw for some reason! And the pointed toe is so classic... though I'm torn between the citron and the black! Help!!!

TOMS ballet flats

As if TOMS weren't the most comfortable shoes in the world, now they made them cute? [Cos you KNOW Toms are not cute looking]. All the different styles, the inside lining, I'm all about it. The hefty price tag for flats? That I'm not all about. But I will get my hands on some of these beauties.

Did I mention these are only $50 at The Gap? How about I just buy Hunter boots in a basic black than stock up on these babies when I want to switch it up? Awesome. Now which color would YOU chose? 

Little Goodies!

This week was a really short work week. I had off tuesday, yesterday and today and have thoroughly enjoyed it, especially since my next week will be a little bit more crazy at work. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow here in Jersey [boo] but I'm trying to make things around here feel a little "warmer". I bought tulips on tuesday, got my new loafers from ShoeMint in and am DYING to wear them! So here are my little goodies I've been enjoying over here :)

NYC winter outfit

The next couple Saturday's we will be going into Manhattan for some festive activities (one is seeing the Radio City Christmas show! Another is our friends birthday). New York City in the winter screams for the perfect outfit. Lots of walking, cold and brisk weather and you have to look perfect for pictures! This is what I'll be trying to wear (because I don't do good in the cold... so I'm not sure a faux fur vest is enough to keep me warm)

It's officially the Holiday season! And when I think of the Holiday season, I secretly wish every year that we had a Holiday party to go to. I host our Halloween parties every year and think hosting a Christmas party as well is too much on us and our budgets but I always wish we could attend one lol. During the fall and winter, I love to buy a ton of boots to stock up on. I think I have more boots than anything else in my closet, even flip flops and i LIVE in those in the summer. I prefer boots with no heel, making it a lot easier to walk in on most days... but lately heels with just the right amount of heel have been very appealing. Especially number two.

Out with the old UGGS...

The other day I posted this sad ass picture on Instagram of my UGGS. 

I looked down and it was suddenly very clear, I needed new UGGS bad. And this is my good pair. I have a tan version that is in even worse shape [it has holes in the front!] I just don't want to throw them out until I get new ones because I can not live without them in the fall and winter. With my birthday coming up next month, I'm asking for a pair but there are too many cute ones to chose from!!

Tell me why I don't like Monday?

Boo. It's Monday. The weekend went too fast. My weekend was pretty good and we had a lot of fun out on friday and saturday. Yesterday Jose & I went shopping and I got some goodies. Today I was supposed to work but had to take Lando to the vet. He's okay! And now I'm home doing some more "mini-apartment" decorating and admiring my newest additions to my accessory family.
