Our second day in Chicago, after all that walking around in the city... we decided to go straight to dinner and drinking. We ended up at Rock it Bar & Grill at River North and it was the shit. Chicago knows how to party!! It was bumping!! We had a good time... I would have had a better time if I was in my cute bar outfit lol but it is what it is!

A Hot, Summer Night

A couple weeks ago we went out to celebrate Jose's birthday early with Nestor and Wendy. It was a HOT night but a great night. Nothing like humid, drunk nights to end the summer.

Saturday night we decided to go out real late with our down ass bitches. We went bar hopping in Hoboken, jumping around and getting drunk. It was a fun night filled with strange drunk conversations [the guys were arguing whether drake was a good rapper or not] and we plan on doing it real quick soon. But I was not feeling cute at all... hence the jeans and guns n roses t-shirt and hair up. It was just a bleh night.

A Stars and Stripes Weekend!

Whoo! What an amazing weekend it was! I was so busy and enjoying it so much I hardly took pictures... which is not like me. But I did get some in. Friday night was spent at the fair, Saturday was spent at the flea market, sushi and walking around Hoboken. Sunday I worked. And Monday was spent BBQing at my moms. Besides Sunday, it was the perfect weekend. Along with lots of packing thrown in.

Yesterday at 5 my girl Wendy texted me to say she got free tickets to the Mets game last night. Hellll Yeah!! The game started at 7, I got off of work at 6. I scammed my way out of work and we raced over to CitiField! Luckily there was a rain delay so we made it in time to watch the Mets play the Oakland A's!

It was an awesome night that included zeppole's, the wave, bottoms up beers and the Mets winning after 13 innings! Holla! Hope to attend a couple more baseball games before the season's over!

Saturday Night Outfit... and we got some news!

So I have our BIG news at the end of this post but first just wanted to tap over our weekend real quick. And I loved my outfit so much I took a picture. But I had to take it at a shitty angle. So at the risk of looking like a fat pig [which I do at this angle for some reason] I'm just gonna throw it out there!

There! It's over! It's done! Ahh... I feel so much better. So Saturday night was supposed to be with girlfriends but when they bailed, I went to my "down ass bitches" Nestor and Wendy. Jose and I call them down ass bitches because they are ALWAYS down for ANYTHING. They're the shit!

I've always worn mad bracelets. My friends ALWAYS made fun of me. But now it's cool to do it so I'm taking photos of my brand new bracelet arm.

Hmm... these look like Instagram pictures?? How?? Maybe cos Jose and I now got iPhones!! We made the full conversion to mac baby! 

So our big news is

We are Moving! 

But it's not what you think...

We are moving in to my MOMs house for a year [year and a half tops] to SAVE up to buy our own house. Because in the county of New Jersey we live in, it's just waaaaay too expensive to do it our own so quickly. If we didn't do this move into my moms, it would take us SEVEN YEARS to save the money we'd be putting away. I was VERY reluctant but Jose convinced me and now I'm sure there's just no better way for us to get our own house. So YUP! 

I'm going to be posting some BEFORE and AFTER pictures of our apartment because it has come a loooooong way and I just always want to remember our first little home we made together. So look for those babies soon! 

Christmas in New York City!

On Saturday we spent Christmas in the City with our friends Nestor and Wendy and it was great! It was freeeeezzing but it was great! We started off the night at Charito's in Hoboken, the BEST mexican ever!

 Than we went to patiently wait for the path train to the city

 Finally we made it! And the first thing we saw when we got off the train was the gorgeous Empire State Building!

 We walked up and made our way to 42nd Street and Times Square

 We stopped off at Toys R Us to get some Candy at Candyland - sooo good :)

 Wendy and I were easily distracted by the 4 floor Forever 21

 FINALLY we made it to Rockefeller Center [you don't understand. New York City around Christmas is chaos!] In fact - the only spot we could comfortably get was BEHIND the tree!

 Oh and I bundle up HARD in the winter in the city lol hence why i look like a big fat marshmallow!

 And Nestor sucks at taking pictures so these are the best ones we got! lol

Can NOT believe Christmas is 2 DAYS AWAY!! Nuuuts! I'm excited :) Can't wait for it to come!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my awesome cousin/GODSON Julius!! He turns 8 today and I cant wait to hang out with him tonight and talk star wars!! [yup!! thats how you KNOW he's my godson lol]
