Goodbye 2012!

2012 was an amazing year! Our first year of business was so much better than I imagined [with us booking 2 weddings all ready for next year! WHOO!], we celebrated our first anniversary together, took our first trip to Disneyworld together, met Jasmine Star at The Fix [omg!], made a bunch of new photographer friends, and SO MUCH MORE! :)

I love 2012 and am so sad to see it end. I know 2013 is going to be a challenging year - with our weddings, moving out of my moms [finally!] & overall getting a better grip on our business. But bring it on!!! I'm very excited for all the new experiences and changes. Its great to begin negw friendships with people who do and like exactly what you do and it's so exciting to know I'll be kicking off the new year getting to know them much better :) And its because of my new photographer friends I'm able to get so much knowledge and experience! Plus we are going to DISNEY in February!!! Ahh... more on that later this week :) For now - a tiny look back at 2012 in our business and in my personal life.

beautiful friends and beautiful boudoirs :)

Guest Post: Anya from ShoeDazzle!

I am so happy to have Anya from ShoeDazzle here guest posting! I love ShoeDazzle [hello, I love shoes!] & for the price you pay, the quality you get is just as great!

Anya is one of Hollywood's most influential trendsetters. She is a nationally recognized celebrity stylist and is known for her impeccable eye and ability to tie any look together with the perfect accessory. And she's here to talk all fashionable accessories that can transform your winter wardrobe! Take it away Anya!
Inner beauty is able to shine through for the world to see when a person feels radiant and confident on the outside.  Looking great and feeling fantastic often go hand in hand.  The way a person dresses can give an individual a positive sense of self-confidence and an energetic outlook on life if she knows she looks wonderful and feels fashionable.  With the holiday season approaching, now is the time to take advantage of the amazing new winter styles so you can stay warm and fabulously chic at each festive holiday gathering you go to this year.

This winter, there are some fantastic fashions women can take advantage of to show off their sassy side, their sophisticated side, or to express their own unique style by combining different fashion themes.  From animal motifs, sexy black leather skirts and jackets, to lovely winter white cardigans and cashmere sweaters! Endless possibilities exist to spruce up your cold weather wardrobe.  When it comes to shoes, consider adding a pair of ultra high heels, tall, knee length boots, and a few pairs of fashionable shoes for everyday wear.  From modern penny loafers to beautiful satin pumps and leather chunky shoes, numerous styles allow you to mix and match to create a look that is designed specifically for you.
Plaid is making a comeback this season and this is a great type of print to wear in many different ways.  A country plaid scarf tied loosely around your neck and paired with a snug V-neck sweater is a great coupling to wear to a casual holiday office party.  These items may be paired with a short miniskirt and thick leggings for added style that keeps you warm as you go from one party to the next.

Piling up on super warm winter sweaters is a good way to be prepared for any event.  Thick, knitted sweaters are available in bulky sizes that you can wear over tight leggings and boots for a retro hip chic appearance.  Consider tossing on a belted coat and add a dangly turquoise or silver necklace to make your outfit pop with vibrancy and color as you plan for your next holiday outing.
You’ll look dazzling and feel ultra confident this winter as you explore the fun new winter styles for women.  Remember to add accessories that will enhance your new wardrobe to make the most of your outfits.

Thank you SO MUCH Anya for keeping us up to date with what's looking cute this winter! I am loving all of those looks this winter and will definitely be rocking them myself.

It's Christmas time in the city...

Seeing The Nutcracker Sunday afternoon was truly a dream come true. Not gonna lie, I cried [like REALLY hard] twice... but simply because it was just so beautiful :) But what was even better was just being in the city with my love. We had a great time watching the show, walking in New York, eating while overlooking the city and enjoying our time together. It was a such a great day and I love reliving it through our photos :)

in my anthropologie cape that kept me warm all day and night :)
