My Disney Christmas Wishlist!

Yes that is right. I am 26 years old and completely and totally obsessed with Disney. I love all things Disney and so I decided I had to make a mini Disney christmas wish list [though that's a lie. I really want a lot more]. My dream is when we have our own house to have one whole tree [doesn't matter how big or small] of just my Disney ornaments and also to have a Mickey themed kitchen. But Jose's not too into the kitchen idea lol whatever!

I collect snow globes and I also am trying to collect Disney snowglobes, sort of a collection within a collection. And this Roger Rabbit snowglobe is amazing!! I hinted it to Jose so we will see! :D

All items from Disneystore.com

Salt & Pepper Shakers
Roger Rabbit Snowglobe
Sequined Minnie Ears
iPhone 4 case
Mickey Ornaments

And I may have all ready bought this for myself :) Because I have to have a Mickey & Minnie Wedding Ornament for the year we got married!

DIY Glitter Christmas Ornaments!

Tis the season to use what you got! Instead of going out and buying some new ornament for our tree I decided to go through my craft bag, pick out the items I had and make some new ones. And what do you know?? I had an empty ornament ball, glitter and glue. Hmm...

This took 5 minutes in all seriousness. I just painted glue all over the ornament ball

Shook the glitter over the ball and boom!

Fits right in on the tree beautifully :)

Hope it inspires you to cook up some easy-ass DIY Christmas goodness as well! :)

I'm linking up my Christmas craft here!

Craving: Holiday Shoes

It's officially the Holiday season! And when I think of the Holiday season, I secretly wish every year that we had a Holiday party to go to. I host our Halloween parties every year and think hosting a Christmas party as well is too much on us and our budgets but I always wish we could attend one lol. If I were this year, these are the gorgeous shoes I'd be trying to sweep up and wear.

1. Nine West $63
2. Lulu's Sequin Pumps $34
3. Urban Outfitters Glitter Wedge boot $69
4. IMAN Shoedazzle Wedge $34
5. Modcloth Fuschia Heels $79.99

Post-Thanksgiving Thanks

Thanksgiving was really fun this year mostly because it felt really laid back. I was pretty much ready to knock out after 7 o'clock but once I seriously burned myself during our Christmas crafts [and retired early] than had the only turkey stomach pains, we just went home, watched TV and slept. Today we will begin putting up the Christmas decorations in my mom's house... though it seems everyone I know is everything but in the holiday mood today, I'm making the best of the situation. It's the Holidays people! Time to get cheery and think of the good things in life :)

Prepping for Thanksgiving!

Finally the greatest holiday EVER is here!! I can not wait for tomorrow. It is all about tradition [waking up and watching the thanksgiving day parade in our PJS while eating biscuits, christmas crafts after dinner] and being with my family. While Jose's uncle is sick in the hospital this Thanksgiving and it's still up in the air that we'll see them, I feel even more graetful for the family we have and just want everyone to feel loved tomorrow. I don't play on Thanksgiving. I don't dress cute or anything, just comfortable because it is such a long day. And though it's not the exact sweater, this is pretty much what I'll be rocking tomorrow.

High VS Low [Necklaces]

The other day while I was on-line window shopping I stumbled upon Forever 21 and could not believe what I saw. Is it me or are these two necklaces VERY similar? And since when are necklaces SO cheap at Forever 21?

Which would you buy? I have no clue which one I'd buy because I was about to buy the Bauble Bar necklace... than I found the Forever 21 one. Now I'm stumped!

Dreaming of thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving week!! I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here all ready. I love the day, mostly because it's just spent with the people I care about the most the entire day from beginning to end. Every year my sister hosts Thanksgiving dinner [with our traditional christmas crafts following] but I secretly hope to one day host Thanksgiving dinner myself. I know it's a lot of stress all the cooking and preparing... but I love to entertain. I find any excuse for a party [in fact, I have a mini Christmas one coming up! details later] So for now I'm saving my inspiration in my pinterest folder until I one day can host Thanksgiving dinner :)

ShoeMint!

Have we all heard the amazing news?

\
That's right... ShoeMint! With none other than Rachel Bilson. It launches next friday [black friday] and for $80 a pair, it sounds pretty good to me. I'll be waiting! And here's a preview of what we can expect:

Bleh!

Today is my only day off until Thanksgiving... and I am sick. Got sick yesterday and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. But since it's my only day off I am braving the outside to run a couple errands before throwing myself into bed later. All I want is some tomato soup and grilled cheese from Panera Bread and I'm good to go. And I've seen lots of other bloggers out there are in the same boat as me so feel better! To those that aren't, enjoy the weekend for me!!

Home is Wherever I'm with You

We have been living at my mom's now for the past 4 months saving up to buy a house and will continue to for another year or so. It's a smart decision and my mom is amazing for giving us the opportunity to do so [since Jersey is expensive]

Still, there are moments where I miss our old apartment. A lot. It was old and it had it's cons... but there were lots of pros. It was OURS. I had my own space. My OWN living room. I used to be able to shop for my house... now I go into HomeGoods and feel empty inside almost. It's a strange feeling and one I constantly try to get over but I really do miss just having a place to call our own. Not that I don't love my family, I actually love seeing my mom every single day. And I am really looking forward to being home for the holidays in my childhood home. But the other day when my mom and I were looking at Christmas decorations and the trees they sold at Target I quietly said "I miss my tree". And it's true. My poor Christmas tree is tucked away in storage waiting to be used again... and I just wanna pull it out and decorate it.

But this is for the best. The next step for us after this is we will be home owners and that is a very exciting achievement to look forward to! I can not wait for that day. And until then... every day when I see Jose and I think these thoughts again I just think of this line from one of my favorite songs and feel better :)

DIY: Got me a bulletin board

So inspired by other bloggers and the things they do. A big one is Alaina and her entire apartment but mostly her office [which is a HUGE inspiration for my office]. Her bulletin board is fabulous.

But I wanted a little pizzaz to my bulletin board. Enter The Scarlet Poppe on etsy. Not sure how I found it but she has a ton of different fabrics to choose from and I just happened to find one with the exact color scheme I'm using in our rooms!
So... boring before [I took off all my paper goodies lol]

Fancy after!

And this time with a clean desk top :)

A blown out birthday!

On my birthday [which was Sunday, thanks for the birthday wishes!] I spent my day in NYC getting my hair did at Drybar. [get it?? blown out birthday?? crack myself up] I've been dying to try this place since I first heard about it a year ago but I got lucky when I found out they opened one like two months ago in New York! It was such a nice salon and a really great experience! I sat there drinking my champagne and watched Father of the Bride 2 [which I never saw and LOVED!] Than Jose and I spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Manhattan, shopping and eating. It was a great, casual birthday and I loved every minute of it.

You've got another one coming...

That's right. One wasn't good enough. And since my birthday weekend is starting today [oh yeah!! 3 day birthday weekend off from work!!] and tonight with dinner and drinks with my favorite ladies, it's only fitting I showed what else is on my wish list! Is it sad this one has more than my first?? Pssh! Whatever! I haven't asked for much my last couple birthdays so let me indulge myself with these wish lists!

[From top to bottom]
Urban Outfitters suede pumps [yes in mustard. mustard is my favorite]

Not only that but this weekend I decided to spoil myself on my birthday [it's sunday!] but I'll tell you more about it on Monday. Though if you follow me on twitter or instagram, you'll know first!
